We currently have a position open for an App and AWS Developer.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop an Android application (both front and backend) that communicates over Bluetooth (both classic and BLE) with our assistive robotic devices
- Develop a cloud server using AWS to store data and deploy software
- Work with both embedded programmers and hardware engineers to develop new devices and features
Qualifications
- Strong Java, Android, and Python programming skills
- Experience with Android app development
- Experience with AWS (e.g. S3, API Gateway, RDS, EC2, Dynamo)
- Experience working in an Agile software development team
- Experience unit and regression testing software
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Proficiency with Git
- Highly motivated and passionate about work
- Strong communication skills
- Must thrive in a passionate, multidisciplinary, and agile environment
Optional Skills
- Experience with C/C++ is a plus
- Experience with Django is a plus
- Experience with embedded systems is a plus
- Experience with Bluetooth classic and BLE is a plus
